The statement mentioned that during the course of a day, there were 57 combat clashes. The enemy delivered 7 missile and 54 aviation strikes, carried out 22 attacks using reactive multiple rocket launchers on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population as a result of Russian terrorist attacks. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have also suffered destruction and damage.
The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains complex.
On the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains largely unchanged. There are no signs of the formation of advancing enemy groups. Units of the Belarusian armed forces are identified as performing tasks in border areas with Ukraine.
On the Siversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, continues shelling populated areas from Russian territory, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine. More than 15 populated areas came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Popivka, Shalyhine in Sumy Oblast; Udy, Vovchanske Khutory, Hatyshche, and Budarky.
On the Kupiansky direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled over 15 enemy attacks near Synkivka and Ivanivka in Kharkiv Oblast. Additionally, the enemy carried out aerial strikes near Pishchane in Kharkiv Oblast and Nadiya in Luhansk Oblast. Over 10 populated areas, including Kamyanka, Synkivka, Kucherivka, and Ivanivka in Kharkiv Oblast, were affected by enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
On the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted aviation strikes in the areas of the populated localities of Druzhelubivka and Cherneshchyna in Kharkiv Oblast; Bilohorivka, Serebrianske Lisnytstvo, Novoliubivka in Luhansk Oblast, and Hryhorivka, Siversk, and Spirne in Donetsk Oblast. More than 10 populated areas, including Nevskoye and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Rozdolivka, Novosadove, Torske, and Spirne in Donetsk Oblast, were subjected to artillery and mortar fire.
On the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 4 enemy attacks near Klishchivka and Andriivka. The enemy carried out aviation strikes near Pishchane in Kharkiv Oblast and Nadiia in Luhansk Oblast. Over 15 populated areas, including Orihovo-Vasylivka, Ivanivske, Vasiukivka, Klishchivka, and Kurdiumivka in Donetsk Oblast, came under enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
On the Avdiivka direction, the occupiers conducted unsuccessful assault operations with aviation support in the areas of the populated localities of Avdiivka, Keramika, Stepove, Tonenke, and Severne in Donetsk Oblast. In total, the Defense Forces repelled over 15 enemy attacks here. The occupiers carried out aviation strikes near Ocheretyne and Stepove in Donetsk Oblast. Almost 15 populated areas, including Ocheretyne, Lastochkyne, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in Donetsk Oblast, were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar fire.
On the Mariupol direction, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled over 15 enemy attacks in the area of Mariinka in Donetsk Oblast. The enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Mariinka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast. Over 10 populated areas, including Krasnogorivka, Heorhiivka, Mariinka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast, came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
On the Shakhtarsk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled an enemy attack north of Pryyutne in Donetsk Oblast. Vodyane, Vuhledar, Prchechystivka, Makarivka, and Urozhayne in Donetsk Oblast suffered artillery and mortar shelling.
On the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy made three attempts to regain lost ground in the area of Robitnye in Zaporizhzhia Oblast but was unsuccessful. Over 15 populated areas, including Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Poltavka, Robitnye, and Stepove in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, were shelled by enemy artillery and mortar fire.
On the Kherson direction, the occupiers carried out aviation strikes in the areas of the populated localities of Burhunka, Odradokamianka, Mykolaivka, Olihivka, and Stepanivka in Kherson Oblast and Ivanivka in Mykolaiv Oblast. More than 15 populated areas, including Zolota Balka, Kherson, and Chornobaivka in Kherson Oblast, suffered enemy artillery and mortar shelling.
At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue their offensive operation on the Melitopol direction and storming actions on the Bakhmut direction, inflicting losses on the occupying forces in personnel and equipment, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.
