I'm a dedicated trilingual journalist with a Bachelor of Journalism from Taurida National University, driven by the power of storytelling and a commitment to amplifying voices that often go unheard. I specialize in online journalism, social media marketing, photo reporting and copywriting, with a strong foundation in ethical reporting and source verification. My journey as a journalist has led me to explore a wide range of narratives. I'm deeply passionate about sharing the stories of refugees, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants through interviews and reports. During my time in Scotland and Canada, I had the privilege of working with local newspapers. Beyond reporting, I actively engage in volunteer initiatives, media campaigns, and advertising efforts. My goal is to use the power of media to promote positive change and raise awareness about critical social issues. In addition to writing, I'm a passionate visual storyteller. I capture the essence of events, protests, interviews, and away events through compelling photo reports. Through my lens, I strive to convey the emotions and narratives that words alone cannot capture. My work with organizations like "Truthful Reporting," "Stonewall," and "Gay Alliance Ukraine" has enriched my understanding of LGBTQ+ health issues, politics, and culture. I've organized events, managed social media channels, crafted press releases, and fostered relationships with local media outlets. As a freelance journalist for “Truthful Reporting,” I'm actively involved in media projects centred around the Russian-Ukrainian war. Additionally, I produce podcasts for Ukrainian radio in Ottawa, shedding light on the vibrant Ukrainian diaspora and delivering news to our community.
