This time, we got in touch with Tanya Kozyreva, a Ukrainian journalist, who is currently studying at Harvard as a Nieman fellow. The Nieman Fellowship is one of the best journalism scholarships that exist in the world.

Today I had the opportunity to talk to one of Ukraine’s young ambitious people, Sofiia Yevchenko. Despite her young age, she has already completed internships in various institutions and organisations, is actively involved in the development of the European Youth Ambassadors (YEAs) initiative in Ukraine, is a member of the Academy of Youth Diplomacy “United Youth”, the Women’s League and the Coordination Platform of Ukrainians Abroad, and has completed internships at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. Sofiia is currently interning at the IFES Ukraine office.
У час, коли освітня система України переживає величезні виклики — пандемія, війна, вимушені переселення, зруйнована інфраструктура — з’являється новий формат, який змінює не лише модель навчання, а й саму культуру взаємодії між молоддю й дітьми. Студментор – це програма про партнерство, коли старші молоді люди не лише передають знання з предмета, а й допомагають дитині відкритися: поставити запитання, поділитися мріями, побачити, як навчання і життя переплітаються. З іншого — це не просто підтримка академічного рівня, а розвиток критичного мислення, емоційної стійкості, самостійності.
