Podcasting has been a dream of mine for many years, I got interested in the idea a long time ago when I was just listening to a bunch of cool foreign shows on various topics: history, science, society, etc. I was listening to them everywhere: while going to university, going to work, coming back home, doing the housework. Podcasts have become an integral part of my life. But at some point I found myself thinking: you know what, one day I want to not only have great conversations, but also record them for the audience, so they too can learn something useful, get interested in a certain subject, benefit from these kinds of dialogues themselves.
So, yes, I’m very excited about the idea and want to share the news that I’m starting my own podcast. For my episodes, I will be inviting historians, journalists, writers, scholars, leading experts in their fields from around the world. Together, I hope we can shed light on important issues of our time that impact each of us. My aim is to provide the audience with a deeper understanding of various issues, and the invited guests will also share some useful sources, information on where to read/listen more about the specific topic that’s being discussed. I hope it will be interesting and useful for the audience, and that they will be able to take away something valuable for themselves. Hope that my listeners will come away from it with some deeper understanding of the topic, a new appreciation of the world and how they fit in to it. This is really the main goal of the podcast.
