Dear readers, we are pleased to inform you that our online media Truthful Reporting has been included in the list of recommended media in Ukraine. The map was created by the NGOs “Institute of Mass Information” and “Detector Media”, supported by the international organisation Internews (you can see the entire map here). This achievement means a lot to us and would not have been possible without your support, participation, and help. We are talking about both, our team and you, the readers, who share our materials and give us likes). Ukrainian and international organisations interested in our work and supporting us in any way (mainly through grants) have also contributed greatly to our development.

As reported on the Detector Media website, “142 media outlets from all regions of Ukraine have undergone an independent expert assessment and have been added to the interactive map of recommended media. Independent media experts and lawyers evaluated regional news portals, radio and TV stations based on three main sets of criteria: transparency, compliance with professional standards, and journalistic ethics”.
We would also like to point out that our media is all-Ukrainian, i.e. it covers the entire territory of Ukraine. In addition, we strive to gain international recognition and share our stories with foreign audiences who want to learn more about the realities of life in Ukraine today during the war (which is, of course, our main focus). We have already had a successful experience of implementing the War Diary grant project with the support of the Norwegian foundation Fritt Ord and are currently completing the second grant project, “Ukrainian youth is changing the world”. We create and publish stories in Ukrainian and English. We spread information about our volunteers, activists, and public figures who, despite great challenges, are doing very important things for our country today.
That is why we do not limit ourselves to one city or one university. Although the history of the platform begins at Taurida National University, and the founders of our organisation studied or worked at this institution. However, we work with students, activists, volunteers, foundations, and NGOs from all over Ukraine and write about issues that resonate with every Ukrainian regardless of where they live.
In conclusion, we would like to thank everyone once again for your active participation and support, which has enabled us to get to where we are today and achieve all that we’ve achieved. And we will continue our work. We will engage young people from different regions of our country to spread true stories about the war and volunteering around the world. If you are interested in joining our team and developing our platform together, please write to us at platformeditor2021@gmail.com and we will get back to you. We look forward to working with you on future projects. Take care.
