
The participants of the meeting included KDU students and staff from the Center for Journalistic Solidarity. The speakers presented the topic “Truthful Media in Times of War.”
Leif Lønsmann is the editor-in-chief and CEO of the Danish National Public Broadcaster (DR). Using a presentation featuring various political images, he explained how to detect disinformation through Photoshop, text, and AI.

Amund Myklebust is the former president of the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce. He presented his own cases on identifying true and false sources of information, as well as shared stories of his travels to Ukraine, highlighting the country’s positive social changes.
“This is the second time this meeting has taken place. I believe this kind of initiative is very important, as students have the opportunity to gain international experience through interaction with influential individuals and learn how to effectively counter information warfare,” said Valentyn Vasechko, Assistant to the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Strategic Development at KDU.
