За даними ВООЗ за 2020 рік, близько 200 мільйонів жінок зазнали насилля у формі жіночого обрізання. Страшно уявити наскільки зросла ця цифра зараз. Гормональні порушення, неможливість завагітніти, проблеми сечовипускання та менструації, психічні розлади, інфекції – це лише малий перелік наслідків, які завдає ця процедура. Проте її продовжують проводити, виправдовуючись релігією, традиціями, користю для здоров’я, що немає нічого спільного з правдою.
Донедавна, всього лише два століття тому, жінки жодним чином не могли вплинути на реформи, які впроваджуються у своїй країні. Що краще для жінок вирішували чоловіки, впроваджували реформи, голосували за них, проте на рівні з чоловіками жінка мала платити податки, працювати, на додаток доглядати за дітьми та домом. Обов’язок подолання несправедливості взяли на себе суфражистки, які поклали початок боротьбі за гендерну рівність.
У Верховній Раді оголосили законопроект про реформування свят 8 березня, 1 та 9 травня. Він передбачає їх скасування на офіційному рівні, натомість запровадження нових свят: 25 лютого – День української жінки (день народження Лесі Українки), 9 березня – Шевченків день, друга неділя травня – День матері, як вихідні дні.

Norwegian higher education attracts many foreign students, and the universities in this country are considered among the best in Europe. On June 8, 2022, QS World University Rankings published the ranking of world universities. It included nearly 1500 institutions from around the world, including four Norwegian universities.
In 2021, Norway ranked 8th in the United Nations’ list of the happiest countries globally and has consistently been in the top ten for several years. Therefore, it’s not surprising that this Scandinavian country attracts many foreigners with its economy, standard of living, and democratic system. Obtaining higher education in Norwegian universities is particularly convenient because education is free, and admission conditions are favorable.
Ukraine, like Norway, is a participant in the Bologna Process and joined it in 2005. However, as we can see, it’s challenging to say that these countries have an equal level of education, and a Ukrainian diploma is valued no less than a Norwegian one.
